While we want WatKIDSville to be a fun and exciting environment, there will be times that we need to correct children’s behavior
No form of physical discipline is acceptable.
Action Steps:
First – Gently redirect him/her using the WatKIDSville Way.
Second – After 3 attempts to redirect, discreetly take him/her outside of the classroom to have a conversation.
Third – If still no change, get us involved.
Fourth – Contact the parent.
Fifth – Discuss alternative
discussed with parents and legal guardians.
Uncontrollable or unusual behavior should be reported immediately to parents and a staff member
Try establishing rules or expectations from the beginning to point children to and reinforce them
