The Church Leadership Team (CLT) exists to provide oversight, general guidance, and  accountability to the Pastoral Staff whom God has called to carry out the ministry of the  church. The CLT is made up of the Lead Pastor, Executive Pastor, and six laymen whom the church recognizes as gifted and qualified spiritual leaders. The six laymen are men who have previously served as Deacons and are nominated by the church. They are then reviewed by the CLT, and the number of candidates needed to complete the Team are recommended for affirmation by the church. This takes place at the Church Conference in November of this year. The CLT members serve three year terms with the potential of serving an additional three years before rotating off for at least one year. A more detailed description and explanation of responsibilities may be found in our Church Constitution and can be accessed HERE.

Below are the current or former Deacons who are eligible to be nominated for consideration.  If you are a member of Watkinsville FBC, you may nominate up to TWO candidates. Submit their names below or email the names to julie@watkinsville.org. Nominations are due BY OCTOBER 19th.

If you notice a name that has been left of, or you want to remove your name from consideration, please let us know by emailing julie@watkinsville.org
