Labor and Delivery Bags for Pregnant Moms Headed to the Hospital

IMPACT: In 1988, Athens Pregnancy Center (APC) was established as a faith-based non-profit organization to empower women and men facing difficult pregnancy decisions in our community. Their mission is to be a lifeline for women experiencing unplanned pregnancies. We advocate for life by offering emotional, spiritual, social, medical, and physical support. Your family or small group can support Athens Pregnancy Center by donating Labor and Delivery bags (“Go Bags”) with essential items (full list of items needed below) for to-be moms headed to the hospital to deliver.

INSTRUCTIONS

STEP 1: As a group, spend some time learning about Athens Pregnancy Center and the individuals they serve. Their website (https://athenspc.org/) is a good place to start.

STEP 2: Make a plan to collect or purchase the suggested items. Feel free to invite others (family, neighbors, and/or co-workers) to donate as well.
