Updates from home and abroad
The Nepal Team has returned and the reports continue to amaze us all. Our prayers are making a difference and lives are being saved. There will be more details ahead but just know God is working. We are committed to walking through this door that has opened to the Word. Return trips are necessary to keep making progress. Three to four member teams will need to go again in January and April of 2020. Pray about being a part of one of those teams and let me know if you would be interested.
On the homefront, our new space is actually nearing completion! We expect to hear this week information that will help us know when our first worship service will be and when our preschool classes will open. Once complete, renovations on the Life Building to convert it to student space will begin. In the worship center carpet has been laid, the lighting fixtures are in place, sound and lighting is being installed, and the new men's and women's restrooms are finished. Maybe you noticed the Pavilion that has gone up. This space is going to be a major "meet me at" spot for our students. I love that we are able to create some environments for them that will give them a spot to gather their friends.
Please be praying for our construction team and for those involved in the multitude of daily decisions to bring the project to completion.
