With great excitement I want to share with you that we have the opportunity to purchase the house and almost four acres of land bordering the Watkinsville side of our church property. On Sunday night, October 25, our church family will vote on a recommendation to purchase. 

For more than fifteen years our church family has prayed and hoped we might be able to acquire the property for future growth and ministry. Through those years we have maintained a good relationship with our neighbors. They have been very patient and understanding considering the amount of activity on our property at all hours of the day. 

Each time we began additions to our facilities we would reach out to our neighbors but we were never able to reach an agreement with the immediate property owner. Just prior to the construction of watKIDSville we purchased the property we refer to as the Church House on the other side of the adjacent property and we were also given the property we refer to as the "back parking lot". However, as we began to consider future facilities this time,  when contacted, the property owner next door was very open to selling. We now have an option to buy the land and house for $285,000.
I believe the time is right as well as the price for us to make this purchase. This is a good price for both parties involved. 

The land is somewhat the final piece of the puzzle for our property footprint. Our property would now be contained within three streets and a railroad track. We often speak of our future plans of growth as being "to maximize our property and plant churches." Having this property will allow us the ability to make much clearer and more definite plans for what maximizing our property means. It will also provide some much needed breathing room for parking and traffic flow on and off our property. 

God is at work!  I'm excited that He includes us in His plans for advancing His Kingdom. God is good!
