Do you ever wonder how life works? I sure do!  Not many hours pass in a day that I am not asking God for wisdom. Sunday we begin the book of James.  The real life brother of Jesus writes his book while serving as the first pastor of the first believers.  According to James, everyday life looks different when our life is lived by faith in Jesus. The book of James tells us how to live with steadfastness regardless of what a day throws at us, to the point of one day receiving the crown of life. I've been so encouraged preparing for Sunday. I hope you will be there to start this journey of How Life Works together.

Our help with planting King's Hill Church in Boston continues this fall.  This past weekend six people from our church joined about a hundred others from various churches to assist in what King's Hill called the "Big Move."  They all came together to help students move in to their dorms and apartments for the fall semester.  About 1000 students were helped throughout the day on Sunday.  Say a prayer right now that those helped will be open to more connections with King's Hill leading to many spiritual conversations and conversions to Christ.

Are you available on Sundays at 10:15? Do you have a passion and burden to pray?  A team of people meet each Sunday at this hour to do battle in prayer for all that is happening on our property during the day.  Email or call the church and we will get you connected to this Sunday prayer team.

PS: Remember to keep helping us with parking on Sundays.  Only park around the childrens building if you need to use that building. We still need more people to park in the grass around the church houses, especially this Sunday considering it is UGA's first home game of the fall.
