A NOTE FROM PASTOR CARLOS - March 2, 2017
This Sunday we will gather in the Life Building only at 9 and 10:15. I will be leading us through the observance of the Lord's Supper. Our worship time will be focused on remembering Jesus' death as we sing, teach, pray and our Deacons distribute the elements. In preparation for Sunday please take a moment to read Acts 2:41-47 and 1 Corinthians 11:23-28. (Note that due to UGA Spring Break and our observing of Lord's Supper there will not be an 11:30 service and we will only be meeting in the Life Building).
Thank you to all of you who helped with The Mix. Around 300 of you participated in some way with the weekend. It's a huge undertaking and possible only with your help. Reports continue to come in regarding salvations and eternal work being done in the hearts of teens in our church as well as across the whole community. Many of you are aware that we had a food issue over the weekend that led to many being sick. Our church leadership is giving attention to how we handle events in the future that have food service as part of the event. Moving ahead new policies will be implemented that will help us do the best we can at preventing those kind of issues occurring while still allowing us to enjoy those important times of fellowshipping together around the table.
On Sunday morning, March 12, I am excited to share some really important information regarding our church. I will be sharing about our past, present, and future. Please make every effort to be at one of the morning services on the 12th. I believe it will be one of the most encouraging days we have been a part of as a church family. On that day we will also be announcing our total giving for Acts 1:8 and praying for our Church Conference that night.
I love you and I'm thankful to serve the Lord with you from this place!
