We know from James 1:27 that God's idea of pure and faultless religion is to look after orphans and widows in their distress. Our God is a Father to the fatherless, and we desire to reflect His character in how we care for the least of these.
It can be overwhelming to think about the 150 million+ orphans in the world - what can we possibly do about a problem so huge? We cannot give homes to them all, but there is so much that we can and MUST do, as the body of Christ on Earth, to care for the orphan. Here are a few ideas to start with, as we all answer the question, "How will I care?"
