The air is a little cooler these days, and that has a tendency to make us start searching the calendar for a chance to make a date for a quick trip to the mountains—leaves, hiking, camping, apples, Goats on the Roof, mountain music! I’ve been studying the calendar too! I have a request as you look at the Fall— DON’T CHOOSE OCTOBER 4th TO BE AWAY!
October 4th is a day for us all to be at WFBC in one of the morning services. It is a day to bring someone with you. It is a day to pray toward, for souls to be saved. Vance Pitman will be our guest speaker. Eternity will be changed for many that day.
The evening of 10-4 is our All-Church Picnic at Herman C. Michael Park. We’ve reserved the whole park that night. We will have barb-que and sides and bluegrass music by the Hog Mountain Boys. More than a thousand of us gathered last year. The night will be a super way to celebrate the morning. Register at watkinsville.org/104
