November 9 - Note from Pastor Carlos

I'm not a prophet but as they say, "I know a guy." What a gift from the Lord to walk through these days in our nation and world having the fresh foundation of Daniel the prophet saturating our heart and mind. Verses like these are encouraging:
"Blessed be the name of God forever and ever, to whom belong wisdom and might." (2:20)
"...there is a God in heaven " (2:28)
"...the God of heaven shall set up a kingdom that shall never be destroyed..." (2:44)"
"Know that the Most High rules the kingdom of men and gives it to whom he will." (4:25)
The prophet Daniel reminds us we have a faithful sovereign God who is at work. He is on the throne and invites our prayers. Use your words this week to continue to ask God to come and bring awakening and revival to our land. Pray for our current and future leaders. Be an army that moves heaven and earth from our knees.
This coming Sunday we will conclude our study in Daniel covering chapters 11-12.  READ THOSE TWO CHAPTERS BEFORE SUNDAY WORSHIP.
Hey college students, don't forget this is 2nd Sunday. Come at 11:30 and stay for lunch. Bring a friend!
Finally, pray for Mike Cain, Greg Hale, Doug McFarland, and Stan Tedder as they begin serving our church family as Deacons.
I love you
Pastor Carlos
