December 8

This past Sunday we celebrated the beginning of our Acts 1:8 Emphasis. David Butler, Send City Missionary for the North American Mission Board in Boston, kicked off this season with a challenge to bridge the gap to the broken people in our world with the hope of the gospel. Where has God strategically placed you in our community to share the hope of Christ?

This Sunday night we will hold our Church Conference and Christmas Sing-Along. We will meet in the Sanctuary at 5:30 p.m. to report on the year and to vote on our 2016 ministry budget. This is a great opportunity to ask questions and be informed about the coming year. Following the conference, we’ll gather as a church family to sing our favorite Christmas carols.

There are so many things to be grateful for as a body of believers in 2015. As we reflect on this year, I encourage you to check out the Annual Report at watkinsville.org/annualreport. As you see the statistics and read the stories, pray for the Lord’s presence and guidance in 2016. The best days in the life of our church are yet to come.

Let’s seek our good, good Father with all our hearts in the days ahead!
