You shall treat the stranger who sojourns with you as the native among you, and you shall love him as yourself, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.
— Leviticus 19:34
I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me...Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’
— Matthew 25:35-40

Living near UGA, we are surrounded by sojourners from all over the world. This gives us an amazing opportunity to reflect God's heart for the stranger by loving them as ourselves; to welcome our King Jesus as we welcome others into our homes and lives.

This time of year specifically, there are many with nowhere to go for the Holidays. Here are some ways you and your family can welcome the sojourner, invite them into your family and your celebrations and show them the God that welcomed you.
