god created us to do life together.

we believe the best environment to do that is within community. God did not design us to follow Jesus on our own, but to "do life together" as we follow him. Our discipleship strategy for people is to gather, encourage, equip, and send them out to "live on mission" in everyday life.

Sunday Classes. Sunday classes meet during all three worship times on Sunday mornings and are designed to CONNECT you with other believers in the church.  If you are new to our church, these classes are a great next step to getting connected at WFBC. These smaller groups are centered around God's word and are available for different stages of life.

You are welcome to try any class, even if it doesn’t fit your age or life stage. We encourage you to try several before choosing the one that fits you best. See list of classes below.

This Summer: Combined Adult Study "Going with the Gospel." Meets at 10:15am in the Sanctuary.

Life Groups.  Life Groups are a place to "do life together" with other believers.  Life groups are smaller groups that consist of either singles, couples, same, or mixed gender groups which provide an environment for you to "BE KNOWN" by other believers, to "KNOW JESUS" through the word, and to make "JESUS KNOWN" to the community and the world around you. Click the "join a group" button below to register to find a group.

How do I join a Life Group?

The best time to join a Life Group is in January and August. During these months there will be multiple Life Group options. Life Groups start meeting in September and January. Click on the button at the top of this page to register for a group.

Interested in leading a Life Group?

We are always looking for people to lead a Life Group. If you are interested in leading a Life Group, fill out a leadership application form by clicking here. As a leader our promise to you is to not leave you out on an island, but to coach and support you along the way. Click here to go to our Life Group Leader Resource Page.

Who should join a Life Group?

Life Groups are designed for adult couples and for adult singles. If you are married and looking for a same gender group (men's or women's group) please visit our men's and women's ministry web page for information about these gender specific groups and studies. College students click here for college Life Groups or D-teams.

What is the best time to get plugged into a Life Group?

Life Groups kick off at the start of each semester. Check here for which groups currently have an opening.

Are Life Groups opened or closed groups?

We have both open and closed Life Groups. Life Groups kick off each semester in January and August. Go to our "join a life group" page to sign up to join a life group.

When do Life Groups meet?

New Life Groups typically start meeting in September and February. Our Life Groups meet at times other than Sunday morning. Life Groups are typically smaller closed groups that meet off campus and meet on nights that best fit the group.

Is childcare offered for Life Groups and what is the schedule?

We offer free childcare for Life Groups on various Sunday nights at the church from 5:30-7:30pm. Click here to find the current childcare schedule for Life Groups. If you want to take advantage of the childcare at the church, please register with Gayle Vice at

What if I do not get connected to a Life Group?

Not everyone finds the right group on the first or even second try. Do not give up, we believe finding community is that important. We also are looking for good leaders because of the demand for people wanting to find a group. Consider leading a group (see below) or try one of our Sunday morning classes or studies during the week. The last two options provide an opportunity to get to know people in the church and possibly start a new Life Group.

If you have any questions about Life Groups, contact Robbie Woelfl

Equipping Studies.  New studies start each semester and are designed to help EQUIP the church to do the work of ministry (Ephesians 4:11-13).  Throughout the year WFBC offers studies for men, women, and couples. Current studies listed below.
